Times Internet partners with Future Plc, plans to launch TechRadar in India

Times Internet (TIL), the digital arm of TOI group has partnered with UK based media group, Future PLC, to launch its international consumer technology news and reviews site TechRadar.

The idea is to serve the Indian tech geeks community with localized technology content, covering computing, home entertainment systems, gadgets and more. The alliance will moreover help TIL to widen its audience reach in India, with an access to international news — covering the latest trends in technology, authoritative product reviews.

“We are excited to partner with TechRadar; a well regarded brand in the technology news and reviews space. It’s a great addition to the rapidly growing TLP portfolio that delivers differentiated content and aggregates premium audience across its network,” added  Puneet Singhvi, Business Head — Times Local Partners.

The deal is a part of the company’s Times Local Partners (TLP) initiative for content development, events, monetization, and syndication.

Under this, the company has partnered with other foreign partners to bring platforms like Gizmodo, Lifehacker to India. Last year, it also launched business news site Business Insider India & Askmen.
