The new workspace looks slick, polished and offers a refined navigation over the backend workspace. The company has redefined its mobile interface making it more friendly and accessible for merchants to access PowerStores 2 while on the go. Moreover, the company has added 9 new mobile-responsive themes to choose from.
Claiming to be India’s most flexible mobile first e-commerce platform, Powerstores 2, apart from the functionality, have also remodeled their corporate website while offering a new sign-up process making it easier for new prospective startups to quickly set up shop.
With Indian eCommerce scenario leaping forward at a very fast pace, Powerstores competes with a number of other similar platforms such as Shopify, iQeCommerce, Buildabazaar, and Martjack, among others.
Founded in late 2011 by Cory York and Indrajit Chowdhury, the platform allows merchants to build themes and start an online store. Its customers can select from a wide range of templates and build their own designs — both for the web and mobile platforms. The company also features a partnership programme where web agencies can use the platform to support their clients’ eCommerce requirements and charge their own pricing.
