GSF Accelerator, has recently launched a global accelerator program, wherein 12 startups will be selected. Of these 8 will be from India, while the rest will be through accelerator’s strategic alliance partners in South East Asia, Eastern Europe and Africa.
The program duration will be twelve weeks and will begin in India with Finals in Silicon Valley. The objective of the program is to provide a platform for Indian and emerging world tech entrepreneurs to incubate, develop, and establish themselves in global markets.
With this GSF aims to pioneer cross-border entrepreneurship and integrate the Indian start-up ecosystem to the most important tech hubs in the world. GSF has also partnered with AngelList for managing the application process for the program.
The GSF Global Accelerator Program will have four phases. Starting in mid-April in India, the team will spend four weeks with GSF mentors and advisors in Delhi and Bangalore; followed by two weeks in Singapore at ‘The HUB’; then two weeks in a leading digital hub on the east coast of North America and the final four weeks in the Silicon Valley.
The program will end with 4 demo days to investors and entrepreneurs, one each in San Francisco, a North American city on the east coast, Singapore and India.
Rajesh Sawhney, Founder of GSF Accelerator and GSF Superangels said, “ This exposure to their peers, mentors, business partners and investors will provide them with a unique platform to launch their products globally”.
Till date, A total of 24 companies have already gone through 2 batches of the program and several of them have already raised their next round of seed funding. Recently, one of the GSF Acceletaor’s company Little Eye Labs have also been acquired by Facebook.
