Retail fashion brand Wills Lifestyle announced that it has gone online with its own online store, during the Great Online Shopping Festival, a couple of weeks back. Before this launch, this ITC owned brand, was being sold online on different shopping websites like Myntra, Flipkart etc., but now it has its own eCommerce presence.
It is selling 4 WLS brands-Classic, Sport, Clublife and Signature, under the categories for apparel for women, apparel and accessories for men and fragrances. And also features a lookbook, from where the users can pick different styles to shop from.
ITC marked its foray into lifestyle retailing with the launch of its Wills Lifestyle brand in 2000. And currently there are nearly 100 offline stores spread nationwide.
This initiative by the company is being powered by Net Distribution Services Pvt Ltd, a multi channel online retailing company, which has also partnered with other brands like Canon, Samsonite, Lenovo, Bw!tch, Forest Essentials and so on.
The company had put up the website in October, but the public announcement was made during the GOSF (11th-14th December). The site is still a little under-developed, certain categories are displaying just a single item, the trustmark logos are just images and not clickable certificates.
