Google on Tuesday has announced the launch of Adsense Direct – a new tool for publishers to easily manage their sold ads to advertisers through the AdSense system, without any need to implement code changes.
One can check the step-by-step instructions on how to set-up an Adsense account here. Once a publisher successfully enters into terms and conditions with the advertiser, the publisher is required to set up the campaign in AdSense and send the advertiser the custom link to upload the ad.
The Adsense approves the payments via Google Wallet only, and are paid out through regular Adsense installments. Moreover, Google takes a 15 percent cut from all AdSense Direct transactions.
Once a campaign for a direct ad buy ends, Google AdSense ads will automatically resume showing-in those ad slots. AdSense Direct is currently available to publishers and advertisers located in the U.S, which according to Google will soon be rolled out to other geographic locations in the months to come.
Earlier Google launched a responsive Adsense unit that helped advertisers to easily handle/run their ad campaigns, as this allowed ads to automatically adapt themselves as per the screen size, resolutions and user experiences.
