Online consumer product reviews and research platform, Reviews42 has recently launched its Retail Inventory System Enhancement (RISE), which enables retailers to publish their inventories on Reviews42 and its partner sites along with their prices. The idea is to help retailers reach out to nearby and online consumers.
Given that a retailer’s product information like product name, images, and specifications might already be available in Reviews42’s catalog the company claims that all a retailer is required to do is mention the product’s price at which he is willing to sell it.
With RISE, the retailer can upload their customer’s data and in return, RISE’s cloud-based tool keeps adding the incoming leads to the retailer’s database in addition to the consumers location data. One can download the tools in mobiles, tablets, laptops or desktops.
Speaking on the launch, Neeraj Jain, co-founder, Reviews42 said “It is very hard to reach out to every nook and corner of the locality to attract consumers. Therefore, RISE enables the retailers to expand their reach in few clicks. Since the tool can be downloaded in almost all kinds of devices, it becomes easier for the retailer to benefit from the development. In addition, RISE also provides its own database of customers along with location’s data. Retailers can send SMS to these users by targeting them on age, gender and location using RISE.”
According to the company, more than 200 retailers are already paying a monthly subscription fee to use the product. Basis the result, Reviews42 is now taking the development to a national level in coming months.
Founded by Neeraj Jain and Surjendu Kuila in 2011, Reviews 42 offers a catalogue, user reviews, price comparison and expert opinions to help consumers buy the right product. The company has also secured a series of funding rounds from a number of investors including Blume ventures, Nirvana Ventures and VenturEast.
