In the first ever acquisition at Kochi startup village,Kreata Global Digital Media Services., a UAE based digital media service provider has acquired Flamingos Media, as part of its growth strategy, and expand its footprint in the e-commerce space in India.
Terms of the deal, including any financial details of the transaction have been kept undisclosed.
According to Deepan Parameswar, executive director of Kreata Global, the acquisition will give a boost to the company’s expansion plans in India. “The Flamingos team has proved that young entrepreneurs from Kerala have what it takes to deliver quality services that meet international standards,” said Deepan,
Flamingos Media is a social media and virtual marketing firm which offers services like mobile app development, social media, viral marketing, and mobile services to enterprises.
Additionally, it is developing various e-commerce marketing tools to help businesses acquire new customers, increase sales and improve conversion rates. The firm is also working to develop a virtual trial room for e-commerce companies in the country. Founded in 2012, by Anup Mohan, Arun Kishan and K K Muhammed, Flamingos moved to the Startup Village in January 2013.
UAE based Kreata Global operates in India through its Bangalore and Kochi based Indian arms. The company caters to a number of global and national clients including Lulu Mall Kochi, Lulu Retail, South Indian Bank, Indus Motors, Green Peace India, and KDD Harvest.
