Videocon Telecom introduces mHealth application

Videocon-TelecomVideocon telecom a part of Videocon group has recently partnered with Think Health Services, a provider of mobile health and wellness related products and services to launch mhealth service for its users.

The company has introduced an IVR-based Value Added Service (VAS)  in collaboration with JIVA Ayurveda Group, that will provide its customers with an access to Ayurvedic doctors round-the-clock, where Videocon Telecom subscribers to speak with a Certified Ayurveda Expert to discuss health problems and seek treatment advice.

The service is managed through Ayurveda Telemedicine Center with a panel of around 150 doctors.

The company is also offering home delivery of medicine to 1300 cities across India on cash on delivery basis, so that Post consultation, users can order medicines directly on the phone.

Commenting on the launch of the service, Arvind Bali, director and chief executive officer, Videocon Telecom, said, “With the launch of this service, we seek to bring convenience and affordable healthcare services to our consumers. This new service shall enable our subscribers to get in touch directly with certified Ayurvedic doctors round the clock and discuss their health issues and seek treatment advice.”

Users can use this service by dialing 535133, which will cost them INR 6/min.
