In order to help SMBs grow their business, Google has launched a new program called ‘AdWords Premier SMB Partner program’. The initiative aims at connecting experienced AdWords partners with small and medium businesses that want expert help in creating, managing and optimizing their online advertising campaigns.
As a Google AdWords Premier SMB Partner, the company will have the opportunity to provide innovative and powerful digital marketing solutions to an expanded customer base.
To become a premier partner, the company must satisfy the given eligibility conditions. Also, Google would make sure these partners to be larger companies or search engine marketing agencies who manage local advertising campaigns at scale and offer a variety of advertising products to small and medium-sized businesses.
Currently there are around 19 Adwords partners associated with Google, as mentioned on the site, such as Advance Digital, Cox Media Group, Dealer.com, Dex One, etc.
A local business working with a Premier SMB Partner can increase the volume and quality of its customers with the help of services such as Campaign management, marketing guidance, detailed reporting and much more. The video below describes it in more detail. Have a look.
As a part of the program, Google Premier SMB Partners may charge a one-time account setup fee for all new AdWords accounts and/or ongoing campaign management fees, similar to agencies. The contact details of each partner has been given on the site and they can provide the SMBs with a description of their charges.
In the last few years, Google has made several initiatives to bring small business online such as GBG, and India get your business online. It has also tied up with Getit Infomedia, in its initiative to help SMB’s go online. Apart from this, Google has also taken steps to help bring 50 Mn Indian women online campaign recently.
