Bangalore based content services company Godot Media has been acquired by Accel backed Trivone Digital Services for an undisclosed amount.
Godot Media, being a content services company, helps businesses and individuals to communicate effectively and create content and also helps them enhance their online presence through high-impact and targeted content and implementing internet and social media marketing strategies.
Currently it offers services like article, blog, eBook, SEO, web-content, social media writing and copyediting services, with global client footprint in over 20 countries.
Whereas Trivone offers content, design, application development, social media management to associated services, including inbound and outbound marketing services to its clients.
The acquisition will enable Trivone to provide a full service offering in the digital content services market.
L. Subramanyan, Trivone promoter, said, “Working with our existing services customers, we have long felt the need to complement our content offerings, along with associated services such as design technology and social media. We believe that combining the strengths of Trivone and Godot will provide the market with capabilities covering the entire gamut of digital content services.”
Godot, which had pioneered the ‘content as a service’ concept in the US to serve its customers with its marketing solution, plans to offer additional content-based services worldwide. “As we were looking to expand our footprint inorganically, we are excited to be a part of Trivone, which is an aggressive services organisation,” says Vishal Dutta, co-founder and chief executive, Godot.
Trivone owns and manages seven websites including Techtree.com, Khelnama.com, WheelsUnplugged.com, Chakpak.com, CXOtoday.com, Supportbiz.com and ChannelTimes.com. It had raised Series A funding from Accel Partners in 2011.
