BabyOye launches a micro-site to make parenting easy

BabyOye, an online webstore dedicated to baby products, has launched a content micro-site, BabyOye Engage, to help parents and parents-to-be in all aspects of child care.

The web page lists tabs ranging from pregnancy, childbirth, newborn, toddler, pre-schooler, child to tween/teen. Each category features a range of articles and guides to provide information to parents on all possible aspects of raising a child, from health to fitness, nutrition to fashion, and development to schooling.

Users can also register with the website and enter their child’s details like date of birth, name and gender to receive relevant articles via email.

The site features videos of various aspects of parenting from their partners and experts; and lists popular articles across various categories.

It also provides a pregnancy guide; a comprehensive collection of information for each week throughout the trimesters, for expecting couples, with a handy due-date calculator. Also present is a milestone guide to provide new parents with a development calendar to track their child’s growth and development progress weekly as a newborn, moving to monthly progress as the child grows.

This new forum is going to be quite useful for parents, as everything is well-organised, and the company is consulting nutrition and child experts to create its content.

BabyOye had raised USD 12 Mn (INR 64.8 Cr) in April this year, in a funding from Helion Venture Partners along with Accel Partners and Tiger Global, and had acquired another baby product site ‘Hoopos’.
