Microsoft Ventures Accelerator in India opens applications for its fourth batch

microsoft-ventures (1)Microsoft India has announced today the opening of applications for its fourth batch of Microsoft Ventures Accelerator in Bangalore. Starting October 1, till November 15, the accelerator will accept online applications from technology startups building products in the internet, mobile, data analytics and cloud technology space from across the country.

Shortlisted companies will be informed by November 25, and invited for a face-to-face session with a jury panel on December 13. So if you are trying to build the next big thing here is your fair chance to take part in the program and take your product development airborne.

“We are looking for exceptional entrepreneurs who are building companies for India and global markets. Our network of about 150 mentors along with our vast network of partners will prove very beneficial to any startup looking to make it big in Cloud, internet, mobile and data analytics technologies. We love startups that are solving interesting problems, requiring enormous scale,” said Ravi Narayan, Director at Microsoft Ventures.

According to Microsoft India, this will be a four-month acceleration program to take place at the “state-of-the-art Microsoft office in downtown Bangalore” where selected startups will begin the process of being graduated from January 22, 2014. The program will end with a Demo Day in May 2014 with a pitch note from each startup.

Microsoft Ventures Accelerator in India is currently hosting its third batch of startups, with its Demo Day planned later in November. The list of startups who have been selected in the batch with other details, can be found here.
