Malabar Gold & Diamonds unleashes e-store

malabarMalabar Gold & Diamonds, the flagship division of Malabar Group of Companies is the newest entrant in the eCommerce. The company has brought all its products just a click away from people by launching its own e-tail store

The company has previously unveiled its plans to diversify into development of townships, commercial hubs, including eCommerce among others.

The website has been categorized under 5 sections including Gold, Platinum, and Diamond jewellery, gold coins and gifts. There is also a separate tab for checking gold rates.

Each product products listed on the website has a detailed description from basic information of brand shape and certification to gold, diamond, platinum etc information.

A few of the brands that are available on the store include Divine, ERA, Ethnix, Mine, Starlet etc.

The store is providing free shipping all across India, with delivery time being under seven days. For logistics the company has tied up with logistics service providers like Bluedart.

As Jewellery the ticket size is huge, the store is not providing any option for cash on delivery, other modes of payments include net banking, debit card & credit card, Cheque, demand draft and fund transfer.

With all this international customers can also place orders on the website for products to be delivered within India.

In case of defective products it is providing free Returns & Exchange Policy where customers don’t need to pay for courier etc.

As a add on, the web-store also has a facility to place order via phone i.e. customers can browse from the web and later place order by calling at customer are.

The e-store was unveiled recently at an event in Mumbai by its brand Ambassador Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor.

Malabar Gold and Diamond will be facing direct competition from other online retailers like Gitanjali, Bluestone, Caratlane etc.

In terms of offline existence, the company has recently launched its 100th store in Mumbai and is in process of launching more showrooms in Singapore, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and also have plans to launch stores in international destinations like Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia and Bangkok.
