Automobile portal Zigwheels launches its mobile app for Android and iOS, one of the key properties of Times Internet dedicated exclusively for everything related to automobiles, has now launched its app for Android and iOS. While ZigWheels is already available on Windows 8 for Laptops and Tablets, this launch is in order to make it more accessible to the masses.

Speaking on the launch of the app Satyan Gajwani, CEO, Times Internet said, “The launch of the app is our way of ensuring that we continuously engage with our readers and give them latest news and updates on their mobiles. As shoppers are always on look out for instant, on-the-go information, ZigWheels app will continue to offer car/bike shoppers a variety of tools to make an informed decision.”

The app gives the users an access to on-road prices, specifications and reviews of cars and bikes. Similar to the website one can view ads selling used cars and get dealers’ contact information. It makes exploring the desired cars easy with its search filters that could narrow down the results depending upon the cost, fuel type, body type, make, and model. This is pretty useful for anyone who is looking to buy or sell cars.

The mobile app has been launched with the aim to help the consumers make informed choices while buying cars and bikes. As it provides information, comparison tools etc. for different models of automobiles.

We tested out the app ourselves and found it efficient and fast with almost no loading time. Ratings, editors’ review were available for each car we saw along with high quality images. It automatically detected our location to point out the nearest showroom or dealer. Another notable feature is its EMI calculator, its really smooth.

Just like the website, the app also has a tab for the latest updates on what’s happening in the automobile industry. Hence it caters to all automobile enthusiasts and not just those who are buying or selling cars.

It is available free of cost for both Android and iOS.

Android is the largest player in the market of mobile platforms. For development of android app – One app, single objective must be your agenda. While you go to develop mobile apps, you should not try to make it a solution for many needs. Focus on offering with a single objective and develop mobile application around it.
