Akshay Kumar ventures in digital space, launches online video channel FOMO for fashion tips

fomoBollywood actor Akshay Kumar has recently ventured into digital space by launching an online video channel Fashion On My Own – FOMO, under his production banner Grazing Goat Pictures.

FOMO was launched in August this year, and has been targeted towards women aged between 15 – 34. As the name suggests it is about fashion.

The channel is providing fashion tips to the genre with do-it-yourself videos for the same. Its a Youtube Channel and the content is being broadcasted in both in Hindi and English ensuring its reach doesn’t remain limited to the metros but also reach rural areas.

The videos on the channel are providing step-by-step tutorials on subjects such as hairstyling tips, makeup tutorials, and each video also has a list of “Things You Will Need” displayed at the end.

“It’s not very cost effective for women to visit a salon each time they desire a particular look hence they can watch it anywhere at any time and still manage to look like a million bucks!,” says Ashvini Yardi, co-founder of Grazing Goat Pictures.

The channel will be broadcasting new episodes every Monday, with all the the beauty tips displayed on FOMO being demonstarted by in-house hair, fashion & make-up expert, Navyata Malkani.

Since its launch it has able to get some 428 subscribers with around 145,242 views.

Recently Madhuri Dixit too had entered the digital space by launching an online dance academy DancewithMadhuri.

Grazing Goat Pictures house ventured into film production with the 2012 movie “OMG – Oh My God!”.
