For the next three months all the 30 companies will be working towards their product development with a chance of raising the next round of funding.
This batch of the accelerator includes a lot of consumer focused startups, enterprise and SaaS startups as well. Moving ahead, this batch includes 5 female and 12 startups from outside US, from countries like Sweden, UK, Italy, Mexico, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia, India, Brazil etc.
And it comes as a surprise that for the first time, a biotech and an electric skateboard company have made it to the 500 Startups batch.
An Indian Startup called Silverpush is also among the selected startups. Gurgaon based Silverpush is a mobile ad retargeting technology company. It was also among the startups at the GSF Accelerator. It had raised a seed round from Siddharth Puri – CEO, Tyroo Media.
Based in New York and Bangalore, Anyadir Education is another startup founded by an Indian entrepreneur, Manish Katyan, with Duleep Deosthale which has made into the list of selected startups. It helps universities to recruit socially, by helping them to reach out to a large number of prospective students, engage with and recruit them.

Carreira Beauty – A destination site for beauty professionals to provide career development and boost online distribution.
Cityblis – An eCommerce platform to discover unique fashion brands.
EquityZen – A stock market for private companies to give small investors access investments in large private firms.
Goods – A platform for wholesalers to help them to accept B2B transactions, manage inventory, and create digital catalogs.
Grata – A live, on-demand travel concierge on your smartphone.
LaunchTrack – An intelligent ticketing platform that provides simple communication tools, analytics, and reporting.
MailLift – Twilio for handwritten letters, providing real letters that are automated for enterprises.
OLSET – A proactive virtual travel agent that saves travelers time by finding them the best hotels based on their preferences.
Partender – An app that brings bars into the 21st century and reduces the time it takes managers to do bar inventory.
PlateJoy – It creates highly personalized weekly menus based on health goals, lifestyle, and dietary preferences.
Popbasic – It designs and manufactures limited edition micro collections for women.
Populr – A micro-publishing platform that helps business people easily deliver information through single web pages.
RealtyShares – An online investment platform that uses crowdfunding to pool investors into private real estate investments.
Sales Beach – It provides technology to send personalized emails to hundreds or thousands of contacts in your target industry.
Shopeando – It’s the largest online retailer for unbranded products in Latin America.
Shopseen – A platform to simplify running a retail business and help merchants reach more customers.
Sidelines – It crowdsources and delivers awesome comments to improve the quality and engagement potential of comment sections.
uBiome –The first direct-to-consumer microbiome sequencing company, helps to learn about bacteria.
ViralGains – It measures how consumers watch, share, and talk about video content.
WePlann – An easy way to discover and book unique vacation experiences.
WishPlz – A web and mobile shopping app that lets you bookmark any product and get alerts when the price drops.
ZBoard – a weight-sensing electric skateboard that you lean forward to go and lean back to stop.

500 Startups had started accepting applications for 7th batch in July this year.
With the announcement of this batch, the accelerator has started accepting applications for its next batch which will kick start in January 2014.
