Mumbai based social discovery and curation tool for ecommerce Klip.in has recently raised a funding round led by Mumbai Angels and angels of Venture Nursery, says founder Harsh Gadia.
Though company denied sharing the exact funding amount but according to speculations the funding amount is about INR 50 lakhs.
Klip.in is a product of consumer internet company Smursh ecommerce which was launched by Harsh Gadia and Maneesh Madambath in 2011.
It is a social curation tool for discovering fashion, home and lifestyle products. Users can explore new, unique and quirky products and brands to buy or save them in their own curated collections. The company was also one of the season – 2 graduate of VentureNursery’s acceleration program.
Just 2 months back, Klip.in had raised a round led by Venture Nursery’s angels which it primarily used for technical resources for product features and building initial user base. As per Harsh the latest round will also be used in technology and building product and a bit of it in marketing objectives.
The company has recently launched a new version of the website with new UI and backend technology.
