To The New, a digital service network has announced that the firm has acquired a Singapore based social media analytics firm ThoughtBuzz. This is the second acquisition for To The New in South east Asia. It earlier acquired TechSailor in July 2013.
With having clients like Toyota, Air Asia, Raffles Hotel, Dr. Batra, The Economist among several others, ThoughtBuzz offers analytics services on top of its segmentation capabilities to track content on social media platforms and help companies to understand their users’ buying decisions and behaviour.
The acquisition therefore will allow To The New to integrate social media analytics into its digital services portfolio and offer additional benefits to its clients worldwide.
The acquisition will also help To The New to add “industry experts to the existing talent pool acquisition” as Anshul Jain, CTO & Founder, ThoughtBuzz and Ashok Patro, Co-Founder & COO, ThoughtBuzz will join the management team at To The New. Moreover it will add the domain of ThoughtBuzz.

Founded in 2010, To The New has also acquired a number of Indian companies including Tangerine (in 2010), Ignitee (in 2011) and Intelligrapre (in 2012).
In an early announcement, To The New said that the company will most likely invest USD 13 million in its Indian operations over the next three years and USD 10 million to grow its footprint in the South East Asian region – which means more acquisition news from To The New will be followed in the future.
