Delhi based hybrid grocery shopping platform, Aaramshop.com, adding another step to its reach has recently rolled out its operations in the Indian neighbourhood country Pakistan, stated the latest post by Vijay Singh on LinkedIn.
Aaramshop.pk, a Pakistan centric site, currently in Beta phase, went live last week on Friday.
Currently there are 23 Aaramshops that are live in the Capital city Karachi. Aaramshop will be catering to the essential (or FMCG / CPG) needs of every family and will work on same model as it does in India.
“In terms of retail ecosystem, it is similar to what we see in India, we really don’t see it is different from way it is operated in here, we have an opportunity and we took it up,” said Vijay Singh, CEO, Aaramshop, over their launch in Pakistan.
The website appears similar to the previous version of Aaramshop’s Indian website, which has been revamped recently.
There are close to 1600 products that are listed on the website right now.
Few of the categories include edible oils, oral care, biscuits, household & cleaning, Milk products, etc.
As the website has just gone live, for company it is quite early to share the numbers.
Seems the company is already high on its social media strategy as it has already crossed more than 5k likes on Facebook and is continuously using the platform for engaging the audiences by contests, etc. “It’s too early for us to use anything else for marketing,” said Vijay.
The company is witnessing good engagement on its Facebook store as well.
For future, Aaramshop will be adding more stores in Karachi (close to 500) and later it will be expanding to other cities including Islamabad and Lahore.
In India, Aaramshop delivers in across 30 cities via a network of 2889 AaramShops and in the coming time it will be adding new features to the website.
In Pakistan Aaramshop will be competing with other online grocery retailers like Pakistangrocery.com, Doorstep.pk, etc.Category Ecommerce News
