Kuliza, a social technology firm with expertise in building web, mobile and social media apps has recently received investment from Blume Ventures. The terms and amount of the deal, however remain undisclosed. The firm will be utilizing the raised funds in further expanding globally and building digital marketing tools.
Also, as per the reports, Kuliza recently appointed Kaushal Sarda, the founder of Uhuroo- a venture-backed, SaaS content collaboration platform for SMEs as CEO.
“Kuliza is expanding in India and abroad, and Blume’s support will enable us to grow and launch new tools more quickly”, said Kaushal.
Kuliza Technologies, a Bangalore based 2006 venture and an initiative of IIT Delhi alumni Anand, is basically a software development company. The firm is focused on helping companies leverage technology support in the areas of social software, community platforms, mobile apps, and cloud computing.
Their services portfolio includes building web apps, ecommerce sites, social and mobile apps along with Big data apps to analyze massive data such as social conversations and location data.
Till date company has served 2 Fortune 50, 3 Fortune 100 & 5 Fortune 500 companies and has clients such as Van Heusen, Pearson, Whirlpool, Intuit, Myntra, Zansaar, Hay Group, Wonderla and ebay. The company is an implementation partner for Mobstac, a Blume portfolio company which helps publishers quickly launch mobile sites and apps.
To point out further, in year 2011, the company has also acquired another Bangalore based startup Gizapage, which provides a social platform for brands.
