Gray Routes, a mobile solutions startup for enterprise distribution problems raises funding

Mumbai based mobile solution startup, Gray Routes Innovation Distribution which develops mobile applications helping companies to automate their distribution operations in the field of FMCG, telecom and logistics sectors has recently raised $100,000 from a group of angel investors based in Bangalore and Silicon valley. The name of investors however, has been kept undisclosed at the moment.

The funds will be allocated to recruit mobile app developers and project operations specialists to its team among other plans.

The company was founded by Soubhagya Shaoo and Sapna Patel in March 2013 and is focused to provide distribution technology consulting and mobile application products. The company also provides GPS based dynamic route mapping and help companies to monitor distribution of their products/services and delivery networks.

It is developing products to ease a company’s several pain points including a sales force automation tool, which will help on field sales teams,  a GPS technology helping enterprises to monitor transactions and track distribution/delivery and an automated mobile solution enabling companies to track retail outlets.

The company was also one of the Top 75 selected Innovative Business startups out of over 14000 entries in Economic Times Power of Ideas in 2012, organized by DST, CIIE and ET, which is one of the biggest platform to boost entrepreneurial ecosystem in country aimed to encourage individuals with a business idea to come forward and connects them with relevant mentors and investors.
