Browser based referral plugin TheShoppingPro raises INR 22 lakh for an initial traction

Gurgaon based Intelligent Shoppro Pvt Ltd, which owns TheShoppingPro.com, a browser based referral and recommendation plugin has raised INR 22 Lakh in angel investment from Gaurav Bhatnagar, Ankush Nijhawan and Manish Dhingra.

The raised funds will be utilized in product development and to create tools that simplify online shopping for consumers.

The Shopping Pro was founded by Ashish Gupta & Lavesh Bhandari, both IIT (Delhi) alumni, in March this year and the product is aimed towards generating revenues from referral commission. “Our goal is not simply to route some of the shopping transactions through us to make some revenues, but to create a platform that makes the shopping experience so easy and rewarding that it helps users adopt online shopping in a big way,” said Ashish.

It has a browser plugin that helps users to find deals and other promotional offers available on several retailers at single place. It has also built a prototype for the mobile. The tools referral program help users get rewards on every successful purchase referred by them i.e. if a user shares a product or category with promotional ‘cash-back’ offer on it, they will get a percentage of cash back offer, if anyone buy the product from the shared link.

Recently, TheShoppingpro has also launched a new feature coupon automation, which simplifies the process of finding coupons with its Find Coupon button. When a user clicks on this button all coupons are tried and the one with the maximum saving is applied automatically.

It also has a Partners Club for the bloggers and content site owners.
