Meet Unpluggd’s top 10 startups

India has recently seen a series of startup discovery events like NASSCOM’s 10,000 startups program, Techsparks, GFS 2013 and Microsoft BizSpark popping up in the country. These events in addition to providing various perks and benefits also help entrepreneurs meet several mentors.

Unpluggd, a startup event that encourages the technology startup ecosystem in India took place at Bangalore today. More than 700 applications arrived, out of which only following 10 startups got the chance to pitch themselves, here are the top 10 startups that were selected for the final demo day –

Deck – A mobile based application which helps users to create professional presentations anywhere, anytime. In an effort to eliminate the common problem of having too much text and an unimpressive layout in presentations, Deck allows users to concentrate only on adding text and then simply choose from several professionally-designed themes tailored for a specific audience and presentation. The application is available for Andriod and iOS platform.

KeyMail   – KeyMails processes your mails and ranks them in the order of importance to you. The KeyMails machine learning algorithms automatically learns from past email behavior – how you respond to different people, the relevance of the email content to you and many other aspects which are unique to your behavior and sorts mails.

Echo – In an effort to eliminate remote control handsets for TVs, a Bangalore based startup has come up with a product which integrates with mobile handsets and TVs, which allows users to search for a program by title or voice search.

MartMobi  – Providing mobile commerce solutions to eCommerce websites, and helping them establish mobile presence. The company supports all major Open Source Carts(Magento, ZenCart etc.), Commercial Carts (Shopify, BigCommerce etc.) as well as custom built eCommerce Sites) with a 30 day free subscription fees.

mYwindow  – A social network helping users filter junk updates. It allows users to build their online presence and market their businesses, skills and talent, supported by a video in the background. The company is also launching its Android and iOS apps in few week’s time.

Whatfix  – A community platform which allows users to create, share and execute interactive guides on any website or web apps.

muHive  – A Saas based tech startup which provides a single integrated platform which allows user to check all digital communication channels (emails, social networks, SMS etc) under one dashboard.

Fluid Motion  – A product of Trutech Webs pvt ltd, a cloud based startup that has recently won Microsoft BizSpark’s second runner-up title in Bangalore grand finale, Fluid Motion is a computer based software which allow users to control their computer systems with hand gestures, without any physical touch.

InstaSafe – A cloud security SaaS Technology provider, InstaSafe technologies envisions to provide a secure and safe cloud platform and inspire businesses to embrace cloud computing technologies and applications safely and securely.

Betaout  – A powerful solution to run online publishing business. It provides a dashboard for the editorial team to run the entire newsroom, keep a track on the performance of various contributors and manage payments.
