Opera ties up with 7 Indian mobile OEM’s for pre-installation in android devices

Internet Browser company, Opera Software has partnered with seven Indian mobile OEMs to get Opera Mini mobile web browser pre-installed in their upcoming Android handsets, phablets and tablets.

With increasing number of Indians using Mobile Internet, had made it essential for Opera to ensure that the users on upcoming mobile devices get hooked to Opera Mini experience rather than turning to app store for a mobile browser. Opera Mini technology includes pre-processing and compression of websites to as little as 10% of their original size before sending them to the mobile device to deliver a faster and cost effective browsing experience.
