LinkedIn crosses 20 Million members in India, second largest after US

World’s largest professional network Linkedin had crossed 20 million user base in India, making it second largest member country after United States, but comprising only 9% of LinkedIn’s total global population.

Since its launch in India in November 2009, Linkedin India has grown by almost 500%. Out of the 40 million members in the Asia Pacific region, India tops in the region, followed Australia (4+million), Indonesia (2+million), Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines (each 1+ million).Members comprise of professionals at various stages of their careers, entrepreneurs and students, connected by a common interest. It has been helping professionals in becoming more productive and successful with innovative tools and offerings.
