Inventus Capital Partners invests USD 2mn in eDreams Edusoft

Bangalore based education technology company, eDreams Edusoft has raised $ 2 million from Inventus Capital Partners in its second round of funding, with participation of existing investors Mumbai Angels as reported by Yourstory. Mumbai Angels previously invested INR 5 crore in eDreams Edusoft.

Founded in 2010, eDreams Edusoft is an education technology company with its products driven by innovation across technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, NLP and Speech processing.

The company has invented an intelligent and adaptive personal tutor “FunToot” for K-12 education. Funtoot is an intelligent personalized tutor that teaches children in a fun and interactive manner. Having more than 10,000 clients for Funtoot in India, the company plans to take it global. Partnered with several educational and research organisations, eDreams has won Bloomberg Pitch Award 2011-12.

Rajeev Pathak, Founder and CEO, eDreams Edusoft believes that with the support of these investors they aim to make significant and positive impact on millions of students by expanding to new geographies rapidly. Rajeev Pathak is an alumnus of BITS Pilani and has previously worked with Wipro.

Inventus capital partners is a venture firm and has backed companies such as Dhingana, Power2SME, Funds India and others.
