Shopclues launches official brand stores

Ecommerce Marketplace Shopclues has recently launched its Official Brand store with 200+ brands, offering their products directly to ShopClues customers. It has Lineup of Official Brands and Authorized Sellers & brands like HTC, Morphy Richards, Sony, Casio, Toshiba, HCL, etc. Many more brands are likely to be added in the coming time.

Brand store allows a brands to create their own store on Shopclues and will allow them to have a separate page for their brand, it also allows the brand to decide about the look and feel of their page, customizing their product selection, etc. Apart from Shopclues, Snapdeal has also launched its brand store last year.

Flipkart activates international payments for Indian shipping has now started accepting International cards for payments by partnering with Visa’s unit CyberSource  to enable international card transactions on their website. With this partnership, now customers outside India will be able to purchase products and gifts on Flipkart and will allow its delivery within India. But this will not be applicable on Flyte, Wallet and eGV payments/top-ups. CyberSource, Decision Manager will allow Flipkart to automatically screen more orders, faster, with increased accuracy. Decision Manager will be operating alongside Flipkart’s in-house fraud detection system, FRANK, to provide coverage across domestic and international orders.

Snapdeal extends its catalogue with international magazines

Snapdeal has started offering international magazines on its Catalogue, announcing presence of nearly 2500 magazines across different categories.  The international magazines will come to subscribers atleast 1 month from the time they are actually out in the market . As Snapdeal does not store them, once the order is received it will place the order with the publication, then the publication will be shipped to Snapdeal and then it will be delivered to the buyer. Apart from Snapdeal, Infibeam also offer international magazines but their offerings are limited in comparison to Snapdeal.
