‘PrintAWallpaper’, a Delhi based startup has ventured into niche online home decor market by providing interior designing solutions online. The startup provides hand-picked wallpapers with over 500 designs at the click of a button and thus solving the need of home decor wallpapers efficiently with ease to access.

How it works?

To order a wallpaper, one has to go through a 2-step procedure- Firstly, he/she will have to choose the design and size of the wallpaper from their website. Then go through the payment process online by NetBankng, Debit or Credit Card. SIMPLE!

 Scope of online home décor players in Indian Market

As far as the Indian market is concerned, PrintAWallpaper has less competition. “This kind of businesses can be found in international markets like US and UK but has been launched in India for the first time” added Arjun Nanda, co-founder of PrintAWallpaper. With increasing middle class population in India, people are becoming more interested in decorating their homes and offices, hence the market provides a good scope for the similar businesses to grow.

PrintAWallpaper provides spontaneous price results as soon as the customer enters the measurement details of the selected wallpaper. They also provide free shipping anywhere in India. The company promises to deliver any ordered wallpaper within 5 working days and also provides wallpaper installation service within 48 hours at a nominal charge. Installation is available only in Delhi NCR as of now.

The company was founded by Varun Bahl and Arjun Nanda with an initial investment of USD 32,000 and has gone live on 10 th April, 2013. The company has managed to receive a few small orders on its 1st day of working. PrintAWallpaper also claims to deliver its wallpapers overseas to USA, UK, Middle east and Far east.
