Shephertz Technology, raises funds from Kae Capital & others

Cloud-based platform for app developers, Shephertz Technology had raised an undisclosed amount of funds from KAE Capital along with Mumbai Angels & Blume Ventures. The raised funds are expected to be deployed for product development, marketing and hiring people as well.

Shephertz Technology was launched by Siddhartha Chandurkar in 2010. As per the needs of the users Shephertz charges app developers $1-$200 (54-10,800) a month for its products. Over 1,000 developers and gaming firm Zapak are using its platform. Developers can focus on their UI and client-side logic, and leave the cloud and data management to App42 Cloud Platform.

Its product range for developers includes App42, a cloud API for platform agnostic app development. Appwarp, a device agnostic cloud based multiplayer gaming and virtual world platform. More includes AppHawk, Appclay, and AppHQ giving a portfolio of innovative solutions to app developers. They will also be launching a shared & dedicated cloud containers.

According to Kae Capital, investment in Shephertz has come from its interest in investing in innovation ideas.
