NASSCOM open up applications for “10,000 Startups Program”

NASSCOM has finally started inviting applications from technology startups across the country for Angel Funding and a national Acceleration Program following up on its recently launched 10,000 startup s’ program.

Nasscom will validate the invitation process through its recently launched website As per Nasscom, it has already received over 1000 applications from various budding startups since the launch of the program and is expected to cross over 5000 startup applications in the next few weeks.

After the program, NASSCOM will shortlist close to 500 entrepreneurs who will be eligible for funding ranging from INR 25 lakh to INR 2 crore. Selected startups will be offered 3 to 4 months of incubation and co-working space at affordable cost along with a startup kit worth Rs 10 lakhs.

Program Features

Accelerator Support: The program will be providing business concept validation, mentoring, Seed capital, Go-to-Market guidance, etc. For this it has tied up with Hatch, Tlabs, Tie, The Morpheus, Microsoft, 91 Spring Board, Kyron and Venture Nursery.

Angel Funding: It will provide INR 25 lakh to INR 2 crore from the leading angel investor networks including Indian Angel Network, Mumbai Angels, Bangalore Angels and Hyderabad Angels.

Startup Warehouse: The program will also provide work space with all the amenities for easy working at affordable prices. And every Startup Warehouse would be well located and easily accessible.

Startup Kit: The selected startup will get a Start-up Kit – a package worth $25,000 of value added services and credits from Google, Amazon, Microsoft and other companies.

The accelerator program is supported by Microsoft, Verisign and Google for entrepreneurs.
