Indix raises $4.5 million from Nexus Venture Partners and Avalon Ventures

Seattle & Chennai-based startup Indix Corp, started by former Microsoft vice president Sanjay Parthasarathy, has raised $4.5 million from Nexus Venture Partners and Avalon Ventures. Previously Indix has also raised $1.4 million in financing from seed investors, including Nexus Venture Partners, taking total funds raised by it to $5.9 million.

Speaking about the investment in Indix, Naren Gupta, co-founder & MD, Nexus Venture Partners, said, “Indix is working on a disruptive concept that addresses a compelling need.” Rich Levandov of Avalon Ventures said that Indix will be making the life of a product manager a lot easier.

The new funding is expected to be used to accelerate product development and scale marketing and sales in the United States. The company might even upgrade their espresso machine.

Launched in 2011, Indix works on big data, analytics, visualizations and applications that help product and services companies manage and get the most out of their product portfolio. Indix is building a cloud-based product for individuals in businesses around the world and will continue to be in stealth mode until later this year.

Congratulations! Indix has a rock star team.
I am very curious to find out what they are developing. They have an incredible valuation for a stealth-mode start-up which has been around for more than a year.
