KAPSONS, a 300 crore turnover retail chain for multi brand has forayed in online retailing through Kapsonsonline.com. Kapsons deals in footwear, apparels and accessories for men, women and kid.
Starting out of Chandigarh in 1989 Kapson now has retail presence in Delhi, Punjab, Himachal and Jammu & Kashmir and plans to expand across India. Going online can be termed as part of the goal for Kapson.
High on claimed figures in offline, Kapsons has a customer base of 3 million, 130 selling points with a turnover of above 300 crores and walk ins of 50 lac customers per annum. It is selling 10 lac pieces per annum, and is distributing 15 leading international brands but how will it benefit itself online from its retail presence, will have to be seen.
The webstore currently is offering brands such as Lee, Arrow, Wrangler, Puma, Indian Terrain and more and is ready to offer INR 500 voucher as a customer acquisition cost on registrations.
