Madura Fashion & Lifestyle, has finally made it’s presence in online retail space with the launch of it’s new ecommerce initiative Trendin.com. Tredin.com is the destination for the top brands in India, offered by Madura F & L.
Madura Fashion & Lifestyle is the division of Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd., after consolidating its market leadership with its own brands, it has introduced premier international labels, enabling Indian consumers to buy global fashion wear and accessories within the country. As per Madura, It is one of the fastest growing branded apparel companies, recording a growth rate of over 25 per cent year-on-year.
Trendin.com is launched by Madura as the official online store for showcasing the widest range of merchandise from Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Peter England and People in India catering both men and women.
Currently the website is accepting payment by credit card, debit card, net banking and option for cash on delivery is applicable on items ranging from INR 500 – 5000. All the online payments are processed through BillDesk to provides secure, encrypted connections for all credit card, debit card and Net Banking transactions.
It is shipping products all over India for free, it is paying for shipping, octroi and other taxes as well. Orders can be placed from across the world but delivery addresses are restricted to India.
Recently another offline retailer for branded apparel in India Reliance Brands limited had revealed its plans to foray in ecommerce, and with this there are many other ecommerce websites like Myntra, Snapdeal, Shopperstop, etc that are offering branded apparel in the country. Though, apparel has been the fastest growing subcategory in retail and reaches 13.4% online users in India but it has to be seen how Madura will succeed in its online venture just like its retail business.
