Talking with iamwire Suraj Sharma, CEO of Rock.in said, “Rock.in is India’s first online store that offers the latest seasonal collections from international brands, and at their original prices. As officially appointed licensees, the majority of brands available at Rock.in are exclusive and cannot be bought anywhere else in India. Our offering to our customer is access to the latest in fashion straight from the runways of Europe direct to your wardrobe.” Aashish Puri, COO & Co-Founder continued “While our collection is a clear differentiator, the customer buying fashion is looking for a different level of service than buying their groceries or buying a DVD. Our aim was to build a company completely focused on fashion from the design of our store, the product, the packaging and the service experience throughout”.
The company offers free delivery and returns within India. For payments, the company has tied-up with EBS for credit/debit card payments along with net banking and cash cards, besides offering payments through American Express as well as COD and live online support.
Earlier iamwire reported rock.in launched as under Probrand Enterprises Limited which has links with Provogue, as the payment to the site was being done towards the name of Probrand Enterprises Limited. This was soon objected by the Co-Founders of Rock.in who interacting with iamwire.com claimed it a mistake by the Payment Gateway highlighting the fact that inception of Rock.in was done in the premises of Provogue’s office in Mumbai, stating that “Provogue has absolutely NO interest with our company”.
Updates on the Payment Gateway site now accept the online payments under name Rock.in after the incident.
