The site aggregates deal and coupons from various ecommerce websites such as Myntra, Naaptol, MyDala and also from the online counterparts of offline stores such as FernsNPetals.
It offers deals in categories such as restaurants, electronic goods, clothing, health and others.
At the same time, there are challenges that still persist in the industry. “The challenges mainly exist with a lack of good processes like advanced POS equipment, streamlined communications with outlets. Improvements in these areas would vastly increase the value provided to brands through deal based campaigns,” added Jain.
In last week, En Route Media, a company that offers in-cab entertainment and internet services, had tied up with Buzzr.in for launching deals on its platform. The service, as of now, is available only for EasyCabs passengers in Mumbai. In terms of the number of cities covered under its offering and consumer base, Buzzr.in collects deals in 15 cities and reaches out to approximately 1 Lakh consumers.
On the expansions plan for 2012 he said, “We plan to grow organically in the online space as well reach out through new customer touch points established with media partnerships.”
However, there are list of players such as dealspick.com, dailydeal.in, mydealstreet.com, Badiyadeals.com, dealuniter.com, dealmandi.com, getalldeals.com and deals22.com, who are also competing to crack into this model.
