Flipkart is all set to roll out its digital media store with name ‘Flyte’

Flipkart’s Digital Media store may come up with name Flyte and get live soon, reports woikr.com. According to woikr.com they have found “Flyte Digital Store” as a separate category live around 8pm IST. However, we did not find this live on Flipkart at the time of writing this post and it seems Flipkart is in final testing stage to roll out its digital distribution business.

In 2011, Flipkart has acquired the digital catalogue of Chakpak.com, a Bangalore based Bollywood content provide and Mumbai based, MIME360 that facilitates digital media content owners and content publishers to a common digital platform. It looks after the music streaming affairs for labels such as Saregama, Universal Music and Inreco and delivers music content to online publishers like Gaana.comMyusic and iMusti.

Iamwire has sent query to Flipkart in this regard and will update you about the same as response comes.
