ThinkBig launches to provide online management lessons

Joining the online business education venture ThinkBig Edu-Venture has launched its new initiative today. aims to empower and facilitate a global student base regardless of subject matter, location and time.

“ will provide management lessons using a 3-screen platform – mobile phone, tablet and PC, offering a ‘complete portable classroom’ with advanced technology solution to ensure almost buffering free flow of digital content”, said Swaminathan K on the launch, Founder & CEO of ThinkBig.

The company has tied up with IIM, Ranchi for an 18-month executive MBA programme. To start with, IIM Ranchi and myBskool would jointly create content and explore more advanced technologies to offer more practical and interactive learning experience to distant communities. The management team myBskool consists of Swaminathan K, Ravi Condamoor, Praveen Ellath, and Vivek Sundar. Talking about the opportunity of growth, Swaminathan said that India’s B-school market is of Rs 5,000-crore split equally between distance learning and class-room education, .

The website’s digital library boasts off various management subjects’ content that includes 6000 power point audio lessons, 1500 Video Lectures, 16 core management subjects spanning 340 chapters and Case Study Discussions in Video/Podcast. The site also offers free demo in what we do categories. It is focused on bringing contemporary Management Studies to a global audience.

ThinkBig Edu-Venture has so far invested $1.5 million in this initiative. This was funded by the US-based NRI entrepreneur and angel investor K.B. Chandrasekhar. However, Think Big are in the process of raising another $2.5 million.
