Exclusive: launches India’s first multi branded apparel etail store for kids

Indian e-tailing ecosystem has been sensing debut and evolution of various business models across diverse categories, encompassing almost all the needs of internet savvy consumers. Interestingly, amongst all the categories, kids seem to be catching up strongly as various entrepreneurs are throwing their hats in this space. Catering the apparel needs of same category,, a Delhi based multi branded apparel e-tailer has launched its online store dedicated for kid’s apparel. It offers branded fashion clothing collection for kids (Boys & Girls) including school uniforms, shoes and accessories.

At present it offers brands like Gini & Jony, Puma, Catmoss, Barbie, Levis Sykes, and Hannah Montana including four others. It also boasts off filters like shop for boys, girls and unisex along with facility to shop across clothing pattern such as T-shirt, denims, winter wears, bottom wears, accessories etc. separately for boys and girls at its home page. While navigating through the website, we found more filters under subcategories based on budgets, age groups and brands. In addition to that it claims that every single showcased products is handpicked by their team which comprises of some fashion savvy parents.

Mangostreet supports online transactions like all major international credit card payments, net banking (39 banks) including Cash on Delivery (COD), ITZ cash payments and convenient mobile payment options. Its online payment mechanism is being managed by payment gateway CCAvenue. In order to offer better look and feel to end consumer, it offers a total of over 10 different views for every product and has a state-of-art in-house studio to ensure the same.

On its shipping and logistic front, it claims to dispatch every order within 24 hours from the time it’s placed and takes another 5-7 days to get delivered at consumer’s doorstep.  It ensures free shipping and does not have any minimum order size for delivery. BluDart takes care of its logistics part and currently operates from a centrally warehouse located in Delhi and it covers over 4,500 pincodes and of which around 2,600 are applicable for ‘Cash on Delivery’. The venture is being founded by Mohit Yadav, who serves as a CEO of the company and it has already raised the undisclosed amount of seed fund in October last year.
