Nimbuzz ventures in to ecommerce via Ncarry.com, sells mobile phones

Mobile instant messaging and VoIP service provider Nimbuzz has started its e-commerce website, Ncarry.com, to sell mobile handsets. Through this new site, Ncarry.com will also take pre-orders and sell the iPhone 4S for mobile operator Aircel. Ncarry is jointly owned by Naspers & MIH.

According to company website Ncarry offers handsets including all popular brands such as Apple, Blackberry, Nokia, HTC, Samsung, Micromax, and Spice, Sony Ericsson and Motorola. It claims to facilitate free shipping and Cah on delivery touching all parts of the country.

The Nimbuzz debut in to mobile category would be interesting to see as online market of mobile phones has been crowded from quite some time and Nibuzz is going to compete against established players in this space. Already we have players like Flipkart, letsbuy, tradus and Infibeam who have been evangelizing this particular category.
